Explanations and Instructions

When you begin your period, you’ll need to use a pad, tampon, or both, depending on how heavy your flows are. Most girls find it useful to use pads during days of light flow or when their period first starts.

History of Tampons

Greek and Hebrew inscriptions show the use of tampons by women to avoid contraception as well controlling menstruation. Materials used for tampons during the early stages are wool, paper, vegetable fibers, sponges, grass, and later cotton.
